"Bad Boys" of Romance Giveaway Hop
Oh you know you love them. Those "bad boys" of romance.
And now we're celebrating them and all their naughty deliciousness. Mmmmhmmm.
Which "bad boy" revs your motor? Is it a hero? Villain? A secondary character?
Show those boys off June 7th-June 17th!
Oooh, I LOVE me some BAD BOYS!!
And I can think of many that fit into this cagegory for me ~
But the one that stands out this most for at this moment IS:
Hawk is mysterious, SEXY, SO Alpha (and I said SEXY, right?)
He's a total bad ass bad BOY!! I <3 him!!
While drinking cosmopolitans, Gwendolyn Kidd meets the man of her dreams. Then she takes him home. Then she wakes up alone. But her fear that she lost her dream man turns into a relationship with a mystery man when, night after night in the dead of night, he comes back for more. Hoping it will blossom into something real, she lets him.
But she doesn’t even know his name.
Gwen’s struggling with the decision to end their crazy non-relationship when her sister-from-hell, Ginger’s best friend pays a visit and warns Gwen that if she and her sister don't get smart, they'll both get d-e-a-d, dead. Gwen has no clue what’s going on but she’s used to Ginger’s antics and decides to lay the problem on her sister’s biker boyfriend's doorstep. Bad choice. She hits the Denver Underground radar with a big, loud ping.
This means Gwen’s Mystery Man, Cabe “Hawk” Delgado has to step in to keep her safe. But when Hawk gets a dose of Gwen in the daylight, he makes the decision that he finally wants real with Gwen. However when Gwen gets a dose of badass, bossy, straight-talker Hawk in the daylight, she decides she’s done.
Thus begins the head-to-head of the Commando vs. Cosmo Girl as Hawk woos Gwen in his own unique way, Gwen survives firebombs, drive-bys, kidnappings, hot pursuits by biker hotties and gorgeous police detectives and discovers the heartbreaking reason why Hawk kept her at arm’s length.
And as all this happens, Gwen finds that her sister’s troubles are serious trouble and she must decide who to keep alive: her sister-from-hell or the man of her dreams.

I Love Bad Boys!
ReplyDeleteMoon from the book Moon by Laurann Dohner is a total bad boy!

I love all her bad boys in this series. And it gets better in Chaos as well.
ReplyDeleteFirst: to answer your question: A bad boy in my mind is someone who is inherently flawed, thus hard to reach due to the walls he's erected because of the past hurts he's suffered so he seems to be always rough, tough, unloving, maybe even cold at times. He's strong, handsome, sexy as all hell, good in bed, and extremely protective. He wants to be loved, but is afraid, so he seems like a real ass. After much wooing on the part of the woman, and some head banging, frustration, and soul-searing angst on both their parts, the wall begins to fall because the bad boy is, of course honorable, good, loving, etc. But if anyone should ever dare to harm or even threaten to harm his woman, the fangs and claws come out (and yes, to me, the perfect bad boy is paranormal, so my real-life man will always fall short until I can find my alternate universe). My email address is michelle_willms@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteI find myself more into bad boys in tv shows or movies then books. I love Damon and Klaus from the Vampire Diaries and Eric from True Blood. My favorite book bad boy would be Travis from Beautiful Disaster and Damien Stark from Release Me.

I love bad boys. They make the book all that more appealing. It can either be the main character or someone else. Right now I'm reading Lori Fosters Bare it All and I am loving it and Rowdy Yates a secondary character is such a bad boy. I love him and can't wait for his book.
ReplyDeleteA bad boy breaks the rules and we love him for it. Let's just keep them in the pages of a book though.

Mystery Man is high-up on my TBR list! I don't have a current (contemporary) favorite Bad Boy, but Remy from REAL comes to mind, and my all-time favorite Rhett Butler. When I think bad boy, I think guy who couldn't care less about what others think, who shirks rules and probably responsibility too... so much the better if love can (help) redeem them!

I think a bad boy is a womanizer, but I love those kinds of bad boys when they fall in love and become a one woman man!

I have heard great things Kristen Ashley! When I think of Bad Boys I think of Barrons, Bones and the BDB!

To me, bad boys are guys who live by their own set of rules, and who don't really care if their rules are in line with what would be considered normal or polite behavior. Tack from Motorcycle Man by Kristen Ashley is a great example of this. My other favorite bad boys are Bones and Vlad from Jeaniene Frost's Night Huntress series. I haven't read Mystery Man, but I'd love to win a copy and check Hawk out.

No one really knows my bad boys. I’m a geek and I love anime. I love the anti-hero, and so far, I’ve not found better examples than Lelouch from Code Geass and Light Yagami from Death Note. They are bad boys you really, really wish you could side with, but at the same time, you know their methods are completely wrong.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, thanks so much for the giveaway :)

Mmmm… bad boys. Excuse me while I salivate. To pick just one bad boy is so very hard, but I will try! I enjoy Christian Grey (who wouldn't? Am I right, ladies?). His compulsive need to control is scary and hot all at the same time. Another bad boy who has me slobbering all over myself is Travis from "Beautiful Disaster!" A man who makes a living by punching the shit out of another man!?!?! Hold me back! Thanks for the giveaway! It's always a pleasure for me to participate in these, especially when the topic is so utterly delicious.

When I first saw the title of this hop only one name popped into my head and its funny because I've read lots of bad boys and love so many of them. Acheron from the Dark Hunter series, can't get any badder than someone who not only bosses other bad boys around but is a smokin' hot god.
ReplyDeleteFor me bad boys don't always mean tattoos and bikes. He can be always in a suit but still very *bad* ;)

My perfect bad boy is tall, muscular, confident, loyal, Alpha,bad-ass, intelligent, protective, vulnerable and majorly damaged -- but ultimately redeemable!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the amazing giveaway!

Reyes from Charley Davidson, dark, brooding, dangerous, possessive, fearless, protective and hot mmm

Ooh bad boys. They've gotta be tortured, flawed, hot, arrogant, infuriating.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I love Travis Maddox from Beautiful Disaster.

Jericho Barrons (not quite a villain, but not really a Hero; not the main character, but more important than any other secondary character) from the MacKayla Lane/Fever series.
ReplyDeleteWell, for starts, EVERY Kristen Ashley character is a bad boy. LOVE love love her! That being said, I love Jesse Ward from the This Man series!!

ReplyDeleteJust thought of another bad boy to add to the list, haven't read his book yet but if his excerpt is anything to go by then he totally has my attention.
ReplyDeleteMy listed baddie is Gavin Riley from Jaci Burton's Changing The Game, starring baseball star Gavin Riley. Bad boy Gavin is definitely my idea of bad and hot! Jaci Burton's sports heroes couldn't better for a list like this!
Thanks for the contest!

A bad boy is someone sexy as hell and knows it.

Jericho Barrons and Reyes Farrow come to mind when I think of bad boys! A bad boy to me is a rebel, he does his own thing, marches to beat of his own drum.
ReplyDeleteThere are soo many! Hm.. ok Vishous from the BDB.
