Beast Behaving Badly (Pride, #5)
series
Ten years after Blayne Thorpe first encountered Bo Novikov, she still can't get the smooth-talking shifter out of her head. Now he's shadowing her in New York-all seven-plus feet of him-determined to protect her from stalkers who want to use her in shifter dogfights. Even if he has to drag her off to an isolated Maine town where the only neighbors are other bears almost as crazy as he is...
Let sleeping dogs lie. Bo knows it's good advice, but he can't leave Blayne be. Blame it on her sweet sexiness -- or his hunch that there's more to this little wolfdog than meets the eye. Blayne has depths he hasn't yet begun to fathom -- much as he'd like to. She may insist Bo's nothing but a pain in her delectable behind, but polar bears have patience in spades. Soon she'll realize how good they can be together. And when she does, animal instinct tells him it'll be worth the wait...

Bo and Blayne have never forgotten their first meeting, 10 years ago ~ but for vastly different reasons! Blayne was so apalled by the crazy serial killer look in hocky player Bo Novikov's eyes ~ Bo saw Blayne and instant wanted her for his own. At any cost. And when he'd spotted her while checking out NY, it made his decision to come play there simple. He wanted Blayne...therefore, he had to be where Blayne was. He didn't realize that Blayne was a crazy wolfdog who'd make his organized life a disaster, but he just couldn't help himself. He was drawn to Blayne in every way, and his Polar just WANTED her.
Filled with crazy shifter antics, including, but truly not limited to, Bo's personal foxes, this book is what I think of as Classic Shelly Laurenston. Hilarious, fun, FILLED with characters that you're going to want to know more about, and just a great read.
Bo and Blayne are so obviously NOT right for each other, but despite that they just make such an awesome couple! They totally balance one another ~ and their craziness is a riot!
LOVE this book, love this author,
and can't WAIT for more shifters!!
I loved this book and the rest that are in the series.
