Charmed Spirits
Jordan Cross has returned to Holiday, Montana after eleven long years to clear out her late aunt’s house, put it on the market, and figure out what she wants to do with the rest of her life. Soon, she finds herself facing the town that turned its back on her because she was different. Because being labeled a witch in a small town didn’t earn her many friends…especially when it wasn’t a lie.
Matt Cooper has lived in Holiday his whole life. He’s perfectly content being a bachelor alongside his four single brothers in a very small town. After all, the only woman he’d ever loved ran out on him without a goodbye. But now Jordan’s back and just as bewitching as ever. Can they rekindle their romance with a town set against them?
Warning: Contains an intelligent, sexy witch with an attitude and drop-dead gorgeous man who likes to work with his hands, holds a secret that might scare someone, and really, really, likes table tops for certain activities. Enough said.

Jordan Cross had left Holiday Montana a long time ago...11 years ago, in fact, and she hasn't been back...until now. Her Grandmother had passes away a while back, and she's finally back to get the house ready to sell, and sever ties with Holiday forever...this town was never anything but bad times for her, with the exception of one family, and one boy...MAN, now, Matt Cooper.
Matt is floored when he sees Jordan at the General Store. He'd known she'd have to come back one day, he'd just not known he'd be flooded with so many feelings and wants....she'd left him without a word 11 years ago. And she'd already made it clear this time around she had every intention of getting done what she had to do and leaving again...so why was his body and his heart longing for so much more? And could he ever get past the THING she HAD to be at fault for?
Jordan is really bitter and very closed minded when she comes back to Holiday...she's a true Witch, and the children of Holiday were taunting and creul to her when she was young, as children as wont to do. But she's already pretty much made her mind up she's not giving them a chance this time, so she's pleasantly surprised when starts to make friends, and rekindles friendships with Matt's brothers, who, btw, are ALL smoking hawt, and I hope have books to follow! ~ but it's hard for Jordan to overcome the walls she's built around not just her heart, but her very person...she's not one to trust anyone, so will she jeopardize not only the relationship she's building with Matt, but that she's building with her other friends?
I really liked this book ~ it started out kind of slow, but there's a back story that had to be told, and a lot characters to meet, and WOW, once Matt & Jordan started sexin' it up, it was HOT...and I kind of liked the slow build. I thought it could have moved a little smoother, there is a big misunderstanding between Jordan & Matt that I'm not about to tell you about, lol, that I thought was a great story line. Overall, this was a pretty great book and I'm really looking forward to more books by Carrie Ann Ryan...hopefully about the Cooper brothers!
