Shameless Summer Giveaway Hop ~ Day 2

All the Byrons are just as “mad, bad and dangerous to know” as their famous non-relation…but now the time has come for the eldest son to marry…
Edward Byron, Duke of Clybourne, has everything a man in Society needs…except a wife. Duty requires he wed, so he decides that a long-standing arranged marriage will do nicely. He knows his bride is beautiful, biddable and bright enough to run his household and nursery. He expects his betrothed, Lady Claire Marsden, will be thrilled with his decision—unfortunately, she’s not!
Claire has longed for Edward since she was sixteen, but how can he expect her to agree to his proposal when he barely knows her and doesn’t love her? Nothing will convince her to accept a loveless marriage. And so she begins a battle of outrageous resistance, forcing Edward to learn that he must lose his heart in order to win his bride.

Today's prize is At The Duke's Pleasure by
Tracey Anne Warren ~~ a historical romance!

For myself, I have cut down on my historical romance reading SO much ~ don't get me wrong, there are amazing authors out there, many I read everything they write, but I find myself navigating towards paranormal more and more.

I wonder if it's because there are MORE paranormals to choose from?

What do you think?    Do you read historicals ~ and if you do, give me some amazing new authors to try!!

A few that I adore and read all that they write are Elizabeth Hoyt, Teresa Medeiros, Donna Grant, Lydia Dare (who both just also happen to write historical PARANORMALS, win/win!)

Comment to WIN ~ open to everyone!!

The best I have read so far are definitely from Julie Garwood and Maya Banks has an AWESOME series called the McCabe Triology---sooooo incredibly good--the second is my fave but the entire series is truly AWESOME!!! If you read them let me know what you think!! Have a great weekend!!:)

  16. I read historicals, but probably not a lot. Sometimes they're a little cheesy. I kind of agree that because there are SO MANY paranormal books out there I do tend to read more.
And Courtney Milan is really awesome!!
