Tempting The Best Man by J. Lynn: A review

Tempting the Best Man

Madison Daniels has worshipped her brother’s best friend since they were kids. Everyone thinks she and Chase Gamble would make the perfect couple, but there are two major flaws in their logic. 1) Chase has sworn off relationships of any kind, and 2) after blurring the line between friends and lovers for one night four years ago, they can’t stop bickering.
Forced together for her brother’s wedding getaway, Chase and Madison decide to call a truce for the happy couple. Except all bets are off when they’re forced to shack up in a tacky 70’s honeymoon suite and survive a multitude of “accidents” as the family tries to prove their “spark” can be used than for more than fighting. That is, if they don’t strangle each other first.

Reviews and Praise

“A laugh out loud, sizzling romance with sexy, stubborn leads. Prepare to read in one sitting!” – Natalie Anderson, USA TODAY Bestselling author

OK, first this is Jennifer Armentrout writing as J. Lynn ~ which totally surprised me, because I had her pegged as YA only writer.  Oooh, was I wrong!
Madison and Chase have known each other almost their whole lives ~ and Madison has been in love with Chase for just about as long as she can remember.
But the one time Madison made a move on Chase, years ago, he'd flamed up and scorched her...then called her up the next day and told her he was SORRY!!

So things have been off between them ~ even though after Madison moves into a condo, Chase moves into the Penthouse in the same building...they use the same gym...
they see each other every day.  As friends.
But this weekend they are attending Madison's older brother Mitch, Chase's bestie, wedding.
ANNNNNND...because of a mix up on the part of the resort, they have to share a cabin ~
the outdated HONEYMOON cabin!  (think heart shaped bed here, lol)

Oh, man, this book was great!  Chase and Madison are so obviously made for one another, and everyone around them can see it, but because of some hang ups Chase has left over from his Dad, they just can't seem to come together.
The writing is so excellent in this one!
I laughed so hard, and totally fell in love with these characters.  Chase's 2 brothers, and Madison's brother Mitch are a riot!  Just plain fun.
Madison's family is pretty zany and loveable, and it was just FUN reading about how these two finally come together.  I can't WAIT to get the stories for the other brothers read...
Tempting The Player is my next read!!
I cannot believe I didn't realize that Jennifer Armentrout was such an amazing writer!!

  2. Ooo is it shallow of me to say this one has so made my tbr pile just because of the cover? LOL It does sound like a great read though. I knew she was doing non-ya stuff but hadn't read any yet. Can't wait to read this one now!
