Thank you for having me here today to talk about my newest release, LEAN ON ME.

I was going to write a blog about my hero, Mitch Anders.

 

 I could describe him as a member of the Tall Dark & Handsome club, point out his stubbornness and bone decency and talk about how much he cares about the heroine, down-on-her-luck Cassidy. 

 

Or I could let you have a peek from the book.

Here's Cassidy's description when she sees Mitch again after years away:

She turned, ready to bat away any flying tomatoes that might come flying her way, and stared into a dark gray T-shirt straining against a firm, broad chest. Her gaze wandered up and over an open plaid shirt and a set of impressive shoulders underneath. Then she got to the face and the smile with the sexy cheek dimple.

Sweet Lord.

This guy could throw anything at her and she'd be fine so long as she got to stare at him for a few more seconds. Maybe run her fingers over the dark stubble on his chin and cheeks. He had a five-o'clock shadow at two in the afternoon, and, boy, wasn't that the sexiest thing ever.

Then there are her feelings for him after they’ve spent some time together:

She loved him. It was simple and complex at the same time. It took days, not years. There was part of her that thought it had only taken hours. She woke thinking about him and went to sleep with his face playing in her mind.

That's probably better than me trying to explain it. :)
